AWARD WINNING JOURNALIST AND HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVIST

Emily Schrader is an American-Israeli journalist and human rights activist from Israel focusing on Israeli and Iranian affairs. Emily sits on the advisory board of the Institute for Voices of Liberty, a think tank focused on European and American Iran policy, and has advised lawmakers across North America and Europe on Iran policy, specially related to Tehran’s terror proxies in the Middle East. In addition to her work as a journalist, she is an award winning content creator with a following of over 400k, including 75k inside of Iran. In 2024, she founded the Israeli Iranian Women’s Alliance (IIWA) which works to bring Jewish communities and Iranian communities closer together with the shared goal of promoting women’s advancement and democratic values.

Emily is a also a senior correspondent at Ynet in Israel, and a news anchor at ILTV News in Israel, where she also hosts the show, Viewpoint. As a journalist, she has interviewed world leaders and senior figures from around the world. She has also worked as a foreign correspondent for Newsmax in the Middle East.

Previously, Emily founded the digital department of StandWithUs and has more than a decade of experience in Israel advocacy. Today she lectures internationally on antisemitism and Iran-Israel relations.

Emily holds a Masters Degree in Political Communications from Tel Aviv University, and currently resides in Tel Aviv. ​​​
